In partnership with the Learning Disabilities Association of Wellington County, a FREE 8-week one-on-one literacy program is available to children grade 1-7, who have a learning disability OR who are struggling readers and enrolled in a school with the Wellington Catholic District School Board.
The program supports children's literacy skills in the areas of phonics, fluency, and sight words. Children are matched with a trained tutor who will develop hands-on activities and games to teach these essential literacy concepts while building motivation and fostering self-regulation.
